SPRING IS HERE!! Well, at least in our house. We went out yesterday and bought some sping flowers to make ourselves feel better. Haha.

Things are good. I had a hard week last week and slept most of the weekend. I have to go cook lunch soon. A friend of mine (aka the guy who used to commute back and forth with me to work) comes to our home every Sunday to teach Yuna math for 3 hours so we feed him and that's our payment. Anyhow, he's a really nice guy and we always try to find some way to pay him. Today we're paying him with salmon which we bought at Costco. It didn't cost much but something here and there adds up.

I"m excited about our chatting meeting which will start soon. Yeah..

Okay. These pics are from when we were in F'ton watching Hotel for Dogs which the boys loved. This is Tim's son Austin. The other pic is of me in the blankets. I had just gotten a back massage and curled up with a blanket and Tim put a few more on me and took a pic. Snowy is in the background.

Okay everyone. Here is the new hairdo. And I'm sorry for putting that pic in twice. I thought I had put a different one in but guess I didn't. I spent the afternoon doing the spare room today. We had a major snow storm last night so there was no school and work was dead so they let me stay home today. Jordan helped clean and learned how to fold clothes today. Next up will be the driveway. Uggg.. I really hate winter.

Cook...Wash dishes...Clean...That's been pretty much my weekend. I went to visit Nicole on Friday which was a nice getaway. We picked up Chai's dad on Saturday and spent the whole weekend getting him settled into his room, etc. We bought him a small TV for his room and he seems content. He's a little bored so we try to find things for him to do. He gave me cooking advice today (something I didn't need) and tried to help out around the house. I gave him a curtain to put up which he did and then Chai asked him to iron his shirts which he did. He'll be on his own tomorrow so I'm sure he'll go through all of my cupboards, reorganize the refrigerator, cook something no one will want to eat and those are just the things I can predict he'll do. Heaven knows what the rest of the week will be like. Anyhow, it'll take time to get him settled.

We had to take Somi to the hospital Saturday night because he couldn't seem to catch his breath. $120.00 later we're told that his trachea has collapsed and that's why he can't breathe. So, he gave us some medicine and that's supposed to help his condition but it was scary. He said that he won't be able to exercise anymore which is a shame because he loves going outside. We'll see what happens.

Well, that's pretty much it. I have a really hard week ahead of me so I'll drop in every day but I won't be writing much. Kind of like today... Haha!

Hello everyone: well Kim I can only be there in spirit but I am comming back in the fall if money permits. Mike and Kristina thinking of comming in April, but have to wait and see about the bankruptcy thing and how John makes out doing taxes and about a car, but he is happy with one right now , but is sure a inconvenience, but thanks to Karen for helping him out. Thanks Karen. Parker I need some up to date pictures. I miss not seeing you. Kristina hope all is ok with you and MIke well you just keep working and halling in the money. Ha. JOrdan, maybe you can come out tomorrow night and stay the night and maybe we can play bingo. have to bring your game with you though. or maybe we can just do something else and get some exercise like skating. Karen get better. Tim is just too much for ya. NOt really. LIke to see how you changed your place around. Kinney is comming down on Wed i think. It will relieve some pressure off you karen as he can help out with driving dad back and to work. well I am ok. Had a bladder examination and everything is ok. work is hell. I have been in a bad mood all week. JOhn litteraly took the spare room and we never hardly spoke. I even went to the don at work and blew my spell to her and that was not enough I went over her and went to the director of nursing about issure and she said Marion if nothing is done by Monday you come and see me so I know where I am going MOnday. I guess i have been there too long but some people do not care and that pisses me off. If I ever get into a place like that I hope someone looks out for me and speaks for me if I am unable and have someone check every week. and what is evern bettter unexpected checks are great, cause it catches them off guard. anyhow enough bitching and today I cleaned and cleaned more and knitting a sweater. I think it will be too small for parker and too big for an infant. anyhow Kristina send me a picture of parker in that cable sweater that a friend made him back home. well Check out the flight for me kim kristina or mike or karen someone and let me know the prices. I have an easy week this week. only worked tuesday and wed , but next week back to the grind. anyhow getting closer to springggggggggggg Karen. op there goes the plow as we write. anyhow love you all and drive careful and keep us all in prayer. I'm Here

I'm still here but I have sininitis now and it hurts like heck! I'm on amoxicillin probally for the next 3 weeks.. fun fun. I need steam to help it as well ..blah blah blah... end result.. I wish I didn't have it. I'm gonna check out UNB, St. Thomas and some others next week by phone and make appt. to see some of them if possible. Thanks for the help with that Kim. I'll keep you posted on it. me and Tim are doing well. We just moved the living room around and I'll be posting a pic or two that he has taken in the past week here.

Jordan is doing well. He has pj day, hawaii day, jersey day, skating and cosmic bowling all next week at school. He's at a friends' house playing right now and enjoying his day off from school. We are suppose to get another 15 cm of snow. When will spring come? Will it ever come?

Kim- good luck with D day. When you need to vent send an email, call or whatever. I'm sure you will!! lol... I'll get that web cam set up by next weekend for sure. I'm sure J will love talking to you on that.

Chai- how are your classes going? your hair is getting long again. Nomi still sleeping on your butt? lol..

Mike & Kristina- how is work? You guys are doing an awesome job with Parker! Can't wait for more pics of him. He is sooooooo happy. keep up the good work. How is your MS Kristina? Can't wait for the summer!!!

Karen & Jordan --- Where are you? I've tried calling for days and no answer. Let's set a time to meet online and we can use a video call. I tried it with Mike yesterday and it was great. I got to see Parker and chat. It's so much better than the phone and best of all, it's free!

Anyhow, two more days until D-Day!! If you've been reading the blog you know what I'm talking about. If not, you'll have to read and get caught up.

Well, off to do some banking now.

I asked Chai to widen the blog writing area and he did. Wow! Much better isn't it. I stared at the Html for hours trying to figure it out and gave up. Anyhow, it's done now. Yeah.

Today's Tuesday and I had the day off. I spent it going through last years bills and reorganizing our finances for 2009. I'm a little late starting but it's better late than never.

Back to work tomorrow and Thursday and then I have Friday off. Short week!! I'll make up for it next week as I have classes ever day all day!!

It's a cold Monday morning. It's -8 here today. It's been spring like weather here up until yesterday and it suddenly dropped. The poor trees don't know what's going on. Some have already started to blossom.

Anyhow, it's a short week for me as far as work is concerned. Tomorrow's our company's foundation day so we don't have to work and I took the day off on Friday. I guess it'll be a good rest before next week which will be awful. I have classes all day next week and it's going to kill me!!

Hi mom! We're the only ones who use this now. I had a hard weekend and I'm glad it's almost over however I fear that the upcoming week will be worse. What did you do for Valentines day?

I made a nice breakfast for Chai and Yuna and prepared some chocolates for them. I bought myself flowers and I'm glad I did because Chai was too busy to think about it.

We met a friend for dinner last night and then came home around 1 am. It was fun but not the Valentines day I had in mind. Today we're just hanging around at home. I'm just about to give Somi and Nomi a bath. They're getting old. Here are some pictues of Somi's new sleeping positions.

Grrrrr!!! It's 9:45 Tuesday morning and I'm already at work. Soooo much work to do and I'm meeting with HRD today to negotiate a new contract. I have no idea what's going to happen but we'll see.

It's kind of a blah day here. The sun hasn't really come out in 4 days. Chai's really sick and can't seem to shake this cold he has. Yuna's catching his cold and I'm healthy as a horse - at least for the time being.

Anyhow, this is just a short note to say hi. I'll write more later when the sun comes out!!

congratulations kim on your weight loss. think i might have to join again as i don.t seem to be able to do it alone. i have tried now and only gaining so have to do something about it. i love the car. you have great taste. john and i are going to that funeral today. so i took it off work. then cathy called next door and wants to go to a movie so think i might go tonight. i pickup jordan today so that will be nice. anyhow mike kristina and parker have a great week and karen keep your chin up and god will work things in your favor. nice to see you in church yesterday. wish we could have more time together like a nite a week. give me something to look forward to. anyhow all my love mum

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. It's almost over for me but next weeks a four day work week so I'm looking forward to that. We went to a friends son's wedding yesterday (Mr. Kim's son) which was nice. We forgot to take our camera which is a bummer because I know mom and dad would have liked to have seen some pictures. Sorry Mom & dad!~

On our way back to where the car was parked we decided to stop into a Samsung car dealer. We pretended we were in the market for a new car and it was fun. We really liked the SM5 (below). One of the features was called a smart card which is a key. It's really cool technology. But it'll be a while before I can save up enough money for it. Chai just wiped me out with this IA CPA course he's going to start next month. Anyhow, dreaming is ok!!

We woke up this morning and there was a really pretty frost on the trees so I took some pictures.

Well, I should go. Chai's sick AGAIN and it's almost dinner time. Oh... I lost another 3 kgs last week.. That makes almost 30 pounds now. Yeah... I start exercising this week so I decided to do Yoga on our new Wii. Yoga's hard!!! Wish me luck~~

long long time

Hello everyone... I know that is has been a long long time... Sorry... Mike and I have been sooo busy with being sick, working, and just trying to keep everyone healthy. Anywho... Parker is doing fine. He is 5 months old, about 25 pounds, and 28 or 29 inches long. He is wearing 12 month clothing and growing out of that fast. Mike is doing good at his job at the bank. He really likes it. I'm doing good at my job. I didn't realize how hard it is being a full time mom, employee and wife. Hard to find a good balance. HAHAHA...

well i did it so thanks so much kim. Mike and Karen patsy dougherty passed away today. sonia and mikes mum. Kristina I heard tonight that ms can maybe be prevented as they are doing a study. They say that they need to take vitamin D. So thought I would pass this along. Anyhow, I think spring is almost here. It's a cloudy and rainy today which means that winter's over. I hate the thought of summer coming but there's nothing I can do to stop it.

I met a woman in the elevator today in my apartment building and she invited me to her home for tea. She was really nice and could speak English well. I had to be careful what I said because news gets around especially with people like her. But, we had a really nice chat.

We have a busy weekend planned. I'm back on my oriental medicine diet so I'll go meet my doctor and then we'll go to our friends son's wedding. (Young choong Kim - the guy who took mom and dad to the DMZ. After that Yuna has to study English and I have lots of things to do.

Well, I guess that's it for now. I'm going to call everyone this weekend and complain that no one is writing on the blog so you may want to screen your calls!!!

There seems to be some confusion. Mom couldn't find the new blog so she posted it on the old one. There are some nice pictures of her and dad if you want to go see them. Anyhow, gotta run. I have soooooooooooo much work to do... Love u!!

CPA is Certified Public Accountant. It's the same thing that Helen was going for but I'm not sure if she finished it or not. It's a two year commitment which means we won't see him a lot but it also means that there's a chance we'll be moving to North American within the next five years. Anyhow, who knows. It will be great if it works out and if it doesn't, well, at least he tried.

Me on the other hand, I was put to shame last Friday and I've decided that I need to buckle down and study Korean. I want to be fluent by this time next year. We'll see how that goes.. Wish me luck.
